Creamware Description:

The Classic Butter Tub & Stand is a modern production of the original Victorian piece it has a cylindrical body with domed lid a pattern of piercing to the upper surface with a typical round knob. It sits on a deep bowled stand also with piercing. The piercing is carried out at the soft clay stage and is done using a shaped metal cutter.
